Welcome to the website of Draughton Village.

We are a traditional rural community of some 100 houses and farms, set close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, yet with easy access to Skipton and Ilkley.

This is the website for us to share news about our Village activities and to keep everyone up to date with particular topical issues affecting Village life.  Please have a look at our listing of forthcoming activities under the News and Events page; full details of each event are posted here regularly.

This website has been developed for the particular purpose of helping us take forward suggestions and recommendations contained in our Parish Plan.  This is a way for us to progress the Plan’s initiatives for improvements and developments of value to our community.  One such initiative, road safety improvements at the junctions into the Village, can be progressed if we keep a careful record of all traffic incidents.  Please help us do this by posting your experiences on the Road Safety page of the Community section.  You can also use the Neighbourhood Watch page in this section to share any experiences of security problems in the Village.

Please do use this site to give us your views on any aspect of Draughton Village life.  You can do this by using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.
