The village as a community can benefit if we all work together. For instance oil is a necessity in Draughton and if we all buy at the same time of the month from the same supplier we can benefit from a discounted rate.
Through our ‘Buy n Sell’ page villagers can exchange or sell items, reducing wastage in the village.

The next afternoon tea party will be held on Monday 6 February at 2.30pm in the Village Hall. All welcome.
The planning authority will decide on the application to build 2 new 75m-high wind turbines at Chelker reservoir at a meeting to be held on Monday 13 February at the District Council offices. A full text of the Parish Council’s objections to this development may be viewed here:
