Grass Cutting 2017 Season

With contractors’ costs continuing to increase, the parish council has decided to fund the cutting of the village green during the season this year, but, as last year, the verges down Low Lane will not be cut by contractors.  The large splay verges out towards the A65 at the top of the village will also not be cut this year.  We hope that some cuts may be performed by volunteers, and householders wishing to maintain the verges outside their own properties may of course continue to do so.
