Welcome to Draughton’s Parish Plan.

Draughton, a small rural community comprising some 100 households, is set at the foot of the Yorkshire Dales National Park near Skipton.

Our Parish Plan, published in May 2009, is based on the views and opinions of as many individuals, groups and organisations within the community as possible, and includes the identification of local action points.

We hope you find it helpful to view these pages, or download the whole document from this site.

Of course, our Plan and our community will continue to develop over time, as action is taken to realise the Plan’s recommendations. Do revisit these pages to check on progress!

You can also use this site to access some useful links and to make comments or suggestions on any aspects of Draughton village life mentioned in the Plan.

If you wish to post any comments to us, please go to our Contact page and use the enquiry form, or go to the news page to send us your message.
